The initial point for this project is to indicate how does an interior designer studio operates due to not everyone truly understanding how does an interior designer physically labor on. Most of the common people have a stereotype that interior designers just design houses. They don’t know that interior designers can design any space, such as commercial, retail, hospitality projects, and so on. Therefore, these projects can showcase how does the designer’s studio looks like.
Meridian Interior Designer Studio is a design based on the 'Celebration of Life' concept. The definition for the celebration of life is the success or splendid moment based on a personal perspective, which can be in any situation. This studio will well be prepared and provide professional services that can help solve different issues within the users that choose them as a consultant.
To express this concept, firework has been chosen as the expressive element of this studio. By taking the outline after a firework spread out, it can develop into a few shapes and elements integrate such as circle, oval, curve line, etc. Besides that, fireworks also bring along the sign of happiness, celebration, and news of wealth that relate to the proposed concept. The particular moments of firework spread out its shape is too splendid until we want to stop the time instance to capture it inside our memories.
It will have a reception area, consultation rooms, meeting room, material sample area on the ground floor. The studio will provide a VR device for letting users experience how does a virtual room turn out before making it. Moving on, it starts to have a 2D department that works out on the technical drawing for the carpenter to build out the physical object. This studio will consist of a recharge area, brainstorm area, and resources area. Those can help the designers to create more inspirations or ideas while working on the task given. Since got 2D department, certainly will have a 3D department and model mock-up room to showcase.
